Tak Ada Konvoi dan Kerumunan Perayaan Kemenangan Pilkada

Muara Rupit, SuaraSumselNews – BADAN Pengawas Pemilu (Bspilu) Sumatra Selatan mengingatkan kepada setiap pendukung pasangan calon yang mendapatkan kemenangan pada Pilkada Serentak 2020 untuk tidak melakukan konvoi kemenangan,. Apalagi membuat perayaan dengan membuat kerumunan.

Ketua Bawaslu Sumsel, Iin Irwanto menjelaskan, imbauan tersebut disampaikan sebab saat ini masih dalam kondisi pandemi COVID-19. Karena itu, Bawaslu Sumsel mengingatkan agar semua pihak, terutama pendukung pasangan calon untuk tetap menaati protokol kesehatan COVID-19.

“Kami mengimbau agar tidak ada perayaan yang mengumpulkan banyak orang atau kerumunan. Selain itu kami harap tidak ada iring-iringan atau konvoi kemenangan, selain karena protokol COVID-19 juga karena bisa melanggar aturan berlalu lintas,” ujar Iin, di sela-sela memantau pelaksanaan pemilihan bupati dan wakil bupati Musi Rawas Utara, di Kecamatan Rupit, Rabu (9/12).

Iin meminta agar pasangan calon, tim kampanye dan partai politik pengusung mengendalikan massa masing-masing, agar tidak membuat kerumunan atau membuat perayaan yang berlebihan. Karena dikhawatirkan, hal itu bisa membuat penyebaran COVID-19 dan membuat klaster baru, seperti yang selama ini dikhawatirkan.

“Jadi perayaannya biasa saja. Apalagi hasil perolehan suaranya kan belum resmi. Nanti setelah ditetapkan KPU, baru resmi,” kata Iin.

Sebagai informasi, pada pelaksanaan Pilkada Serentak 2020 di Sumsel, seluruh pimpinan Bawaslu Sumsel melakukan supervisi dan monitoring pengawasan di tujuh kabupaten penyelenggara pemilihan serentak. Supervisi dan monitoring dilakukan untuk memastikan pengawasan yang dilakukan jajaran Bawaslu di kabupaten berjalan dengan baik dan sesuai aturan. Sehingga, pemilihan umum serentak di Sumsel berkualitas dan bermartabat. (*)
