Saat ini Pemkot Palembang akan menunggu kepastian penurunan level Pembatasan Kegiatan Masyarakat (PPKM) dari Kemendagri.
“Kami masih menunggu keputusan penurunan level PPKM di Palembang, BOR dan tingkat kematian kasus COVID-19 saat ini sudah menurun,” kata Harnojoyo, Sabtu (21/8).
Wali Kota menyebut, kepastian penurunan level PPKM di Palembang akan diketahui dalam waktu dekat.
“Mudah-mudah segera ada keputusan. Meski begitu tetap, penerapan protokol kesehatan tetap harus diperketat,” katanya.
Harno bilang, pihaknya telah melakukan rapat evaluasi PPKM bersama Menteri Koordinator Bidang Perekonomian Republik Indonesia. Pihaknya tetap akan berupaya menekan sisi kasus aktif, saat ini tingginya mobilitas masyarakat sudah menurun.
“Apabila mobilitas kita terus tekanan mudah-mudahan kasus aktif akan berkurang,” katanya.(*)
