PALEMBANG, SuaraSumselNews | SEJAK datangnya vaksin Covid-19 sinovac dari China ke Indonesia hingga saat ini tengah diberikan kepada para tenaga kesehatan, terus menuai pro dan kontra di kalangan masyarakat.
Banyaknya isu yang beredar tentang vaksin ini pula membuat keraguan dan ketakutan dari masyarakat termasuk guru.
Banyak guru yang juga masih takut dan ragu walaupun dikabarkan mereka akan menjadi salah satu prioritas yang termasuk akan divaksin.
Walaupun begitu, Dinas Pendidikan Sumsel terus menunggu adanya vaksin untuk kalangan pendidikan baik guru, tenaga pendidik atau karyawan di lingkungan sekolah yang ada di Sumsel.
“Kita belum tahu kapan wacana untuk guru mendapatkan vaksin ini. Kita masih menunggu pada saatnya nanti kita harap tenaga guru bisa diberi juga,” ujar Plt Kepala Dinas Pendidikan Sumsel Drs H Riza Pahlevi, Rabu (20/1)
Ia menambahkan bahwa jika proses vaksin di kalangan pendidikan sudah berjalan dan kondisi kurva Pandemi Covid-19 terus melandai maka pembelajaran tatap muka tak ada alasan untuk tidak digelar.
Sehingga pihaknya berharap Pemerintah telah menyediakan vaksin untuk kalangan pendidikan, pihaknya mengimbau agar para guru, tenaga pendidik dan karyawan di lingkungan sekolah untuk mengikuti vaksin.
Riza mengimbau kepada para guru, tenaga pendidik dan karyawan di lingkungan sekolah tak perlu takut di vaksin. Karena sebelum di vaksin nanti di cek, mana yang boleh di vaksin dan mana yang tidak boleh di vaksin karena kondisi kesehatan.
“Bagi yang tidak mau di vaksin, silahkan itu hak mereka. Tapi kita imbau agar divaksin sebagaimana ajakan Pemerintah,” jelasnya.
Ia berharap agar kalangan pendidikan tetap terus memenuhi protokol kesehatan karena sembari menunggu vaksin, guru dan tenaga pendidik tetap melakukan pembelajaran baik secara daring maupun luriing. (*)
