BPBD Sumsel Gelar Persiapan Tanggulangi Banjir & Longsor

PALEMBANG, SuaraSumselNews | KASDAM II/Sriwijaya, Brigjen TNI Izak Pangemanan, hadiri apel kesiapsiagaan Personil dan peralatan dalam upaya pencegahan dan penanggulangan bencana alam banjir dan tanah longsor yang digelar BPBD Sumatera Selatan (Sumsel) di Halaman Shooting Range Jakabaring Sport City (JSC) Palembang, Rabu (07/12).

Apel kesiapsiagaan yang dipimpin Gubernur Sumsel H. Herman Deru dihadiri Kapolda Sumsel, Danrem 044/Gapo, Danlanal Palembang, Danlanud SMH Palembang, Kepala BPBD Sumsel, Unsur Forkopimda dan OPD Sumsel, serta Instansi terkait lainnya.

Apel Kesiapsiagaan bencana tersebut dilakukan untuk mengecek persiapan personel maupun peralatan mulai dari BPBD, TNI, Polri serta pihak terkait lainnya dalam menghadapi bencana banjir dan tanah longsor. Sedikitnya 800 personel gabungan TNI-Polri, BPBD serta unsur Stakeholder terkait lainnya disiagakan untuk mengantisipasi dan menanggulangi bencana tersebut di wilayah Sumsel.

Dan tujuan apel kesiapsiagaan personel dan peralatan penanggulangan bencana alam ini adalah untuk meningkatkan kemampuan personel dan peralatan dalam upaya penanggulangan banjir dan tanah longsor di wilayah Sumsel serta mengoptimalkan peran fungsi tugas dan tanggung jawab masing-masing dinas instansi terkait dalam penanggulangan bencana banjir dan tanah longsor.

Usai apel kesiapsiagaan tersebut
personel dan perlengkapan kegiatan dilanjutkan dengan peninjauan alat peralatan SAR BNPB seperti perahu karet LCR dan alat prasarana penanggulangan antisipasi bencana alam. (pendam)
