Dilaksanakan Selama 14 Hari
PALEMBANG, SuaraSumselNews | UNTUK Mewujudkan dan memelihara Kamseltibcarlantas serta menurunkan tingkat fatalitas korban kecelakaan, selama 14 hari ke depan Ditlantas Polda Sumsel dan jajaran akan menggelar Operasi Keselamatan Musi 2021.
Operasi ini digelar untuk membangun budaya tertib berlalu lintas dan meningkatkan kualitas pelayanan publik.
Sebagai bentuk kesiapannya, Polda Sumsel melaksanakan apel gelar pasukan Operasi Keselamatan Musi 2021, Senin (12/4) di halaman Ditlantas Polda Sumsel.
Dengan mengusung tema “Melalui operasi keselamatan-2021 kita wujudkan Kamseltibcarlantas yang mantap dan pencegahan penyebaran Covid-19 dengan meningkatkan disiplin protokol kesehatan serta tidak melaksanakan mudik lebaran tahun 2021”.
Apel gelar pasukan ini ditandai dengan penyematan pita tanda operasi kepada para perwakilan personil yang ditunjuk dan pemeriksaan pasukan langsung oleh Kapolda Sumsel Irjen Pol Prof Dr Eko Indra Heri S, MM.
“Menjelang Ramadan dan Idulfitri, kita mulai dari Polda hingga Polres melaksanakan kegiatan edukasi, memberikan penjelasan kepada masyarakat tentang pelanggaran yang bisa menyebabkan kecelakaan lalu lintas,” kata Kapolda didampingi Direktur Ditlantas Kombes Pol Cornelis Hotman Sirait, usai apel gelar pasukan, Senin (12/4).
Kapolda menyebut Ops Keselamatan Musi 2021 ini juga untuk mengatasi permasalahan lalu lintas dan perlu dilakukan berbagai upaya dalam menciptakan situasi kamseltibcar dengan memberdayakan seluruh stake holder guna menyelesaikan permasalahan lalu lintas secara tuntas.
Sasaran Operasi Keselamatan kali ini menitik beratkan pada 10 prioritas pelanggaran yang dianggap berpotensi mengakibatkan kecelakaan yaitu tidak menggunakan Helm SNI, tidak menggunakan sabuk keselamatan, pengendara di bawah umur, pengendara tidak memiliki SIM, berkendara sambil menggunakan HP.
Lalu berkendara melebihi batas kecepatan, berkendara melawan arus, berkendara dalam pengaruh alkohol, kendaraan tanpa TNKB yang sah dan pelanggaran Odol (Over Dimention-Over Load).
Selain itu yang menjadi target lainnya adalah terkait permasalahan Pendemi Covid-19. Dimana penyebarannya diharapkan dapat ditekan dengan mendukung upaya pemerintah salah satunya larangan mudik lebaran kepada seluruh pihak kecuali pergerakan angkutan barang dan keperluan dinas mendesak.
“Untuk larangan mudik, sudah merupakan keputusan pemerintah. Larangan tersebut adalah upaya pencegahan penyebaran Covid-19. Jadi Polda Sumsel akan memaksimalkan itu.
Kita akan membuat pos di tempat-tempat utama, pintu tol dan pintu masuk lainnya, tetapi itu tetap dengan cara edukasi,” tukas Kapolda. (ril)
