Walau Pandemi, Seniman Lukis Kota Palembang Tetap Berekspresi

PALEMBANG, SuaraSumselNews | Dewan Kesenian Palembang (DKP) terus berupaya melestarikan dan mengembangkan kesenian di Kota Palembang, namun dampak pandemi membuat ruang seni berekspresi menjadi terbatas.

Namun, di bawah kepemimpinan Ketua Dewan Kesenian Palembang, Iqbal Rudianto, terus berupaya memberikan ruang kepada seniman di Kota Palembang agar seniman bisa bertahan dan beradaptasi menyesuaikan diri untuk tetap berekspresi.

Begitupun perkembangan dan regenerasi seni lukis di Kota Palembang kian berkembang, namun di masa pandemi sekarang membuat seni lukis agak terhambat.

Komite Seni Rupa, Tata Sarmanta mengungkapkan, untuk seni lukis di Kota Palembang semakin berkembang, hal ini terbukti dengan adanya sekolah seni lukis. “Ya, masalah perkembangan lumayan, namun sempat mandek beberapa saat karena pandemi ini,” ungkapnya di Guns Caffee (13/3/2021).

“Apalagi di Palembang ini ada sekolah menegah seni rupa di Jalan Naskah,” bebernya.

Ia mengatakan, masalah pandemi ini jadi kendala untuk pameran seni lukis.

“Rencana pameran di SMB II, namun perizinan belum turun, akhirnya panitia mengambil keputusan pindah ke café ini,” ungkapnya.

Sementara, Talent Lukis, Heri Mulyadi mengatakan seni rupa pada prinsipnya berupa media, berarti kalau pelukisnya tidak menguasai teori dan kurang pengalaman dari manual ke digital hal ini menjadi mentah.

Kalau mengenai perubahan seni rupa yaitu digital, bisa membuat cetakan, jadi jumlahnya banyak karena berupa file, itu yang mengurangi nilainya.

“Sementra seperti saya yang menulis Abstrak satu karya untuk mengulangnya lagi tidak bisa,” jelasnya.

Kalau untuk teknis tetap seni rupa itu bisa komposisi, harmoni dan sebagainya.

“Oleh karena itu harus latihan dan menguasai hukum seni rupa,” ujarnya.

Ditambahkanya, awal seni rupa lukis bisa masuk akademi, karena ilmiah bisa di bedah.

“Yaitu, bagaimana bikin wajah, badan, semuanya sesuai ukuran makanya dia masuk Kurikulum,” jelasnya.
