PPS Sumsel Adakan Lokakarya 3 hari
PALEMBANG, SuaraSumselNews- KELOMPOK Kerja Percepatan Perhutanan Sosial (PPS) Sumsel, canangkan pembuatan Peraturan Gubernur (Pergub). Utamanya terkait perhutanan sosial di Bumi Sriwijaya. Rancangan ini tertuang dalam lokakarya yang diselenggarakan, 3-5 April 2018 di Hotel S-One Palembang, Selasa kemarin (2/4).
Ketua Kelompok PPS Sumsel, Rijito mengatakan Pokja Sumsel melakukan kegiatan dan penyusunan verifikasi permohonan di lapangan. Kepengurusan Pokja dan sejumlah LSM yang aktif dan terlibat didalamnya, dapat dibagi dalam beberapa tim. Baik sebagai program kerja PPS dan Pergub, yang saat ini sedang disusun.
“Dengan difasilitasi kementerian, kedepannya di Sumsel ditarget 200 ribu hektar. Berharap semuanya akan tercapai. Hal ini tergantung dari masing-masing KPH,’’ jelasnya.
Bahwa hasil lokakarya ini, bisa dijadikan dasar dalam implementasi penyusunan PPS 2018. Semuanya, tentu ada rumusan dan kesepakatan dalam pembahasan bersama stakeholder lainnya, urainya.
“Nantinya ada rumusan yang akan kita bahas bersama selama tiga hari. Dan rumusan tersebut, menjadi kesepakatan bersama dalam implementasi Pokja PPS,” urainya.
Sementara, Kepala Balai PSKL Wilayah Sumatera, Sahala Simanjuntak menambahkan, target wilayah Sumsel, harus tercapai dalam suatu lokasi. “Balai PSKL hanya memfasilitasi para pekerja. Jadi yang bekerja dikembalikan ke masyarakatnya. Dengan harapan, bisa mencapai tujuan bersama-sama,” jelasnya.
Direktorat Tim Penyiapan Kawasan Lahan Hutan Sosial, Abdul Rahman menerangkan, hutan merupakan potensi SDA yang bisa dimanfaatkan. Tentunya dengan kaidah atau sistem kultur tertentu. “Hutan itu bisa di manfaatkan dan harus dilestarikan,” harapnya.
Makanya, terkait hutan sosial, pemerintah hendaknya berpihak ke masyarakat. Baik pengelolaan hutan lestari maupun masyarakat sebagai pelaku yang hidupnya tergantung pada hutan. Dengan demikian, dapat memberikan akses legal kepada masyarakat. ‘’Tahun 2018 target secara nasional, 2 juta hektar lahan diberikan akses kelola perhutan sosial untuk masyarakat,” bebernya. (*)
